The production of terry products marked an era of innovation. Under the management of Walter and Ralf Karsten, the company was modernized with the importation of new equipment. Gunar Conrado Karsten, the son of Walter, increased the presence of Karsten in the foreign market.

 

A large investment on exports and the opening of the company’s capital started. The spinning mill Fiovale was created, in association with other plants. The inauguration of Rodovia João Karsten (João Karsten Highway) enhanced the progress made in the region.
